Primary Plus is a series of theme-based courses developed for children aged 6-12 years.

It is the British Council's global English product for the primary life stage and aims to improve English language skills whilst also considering the child's development into a well-rounded individual.

Primary Plus uses stimulating materials and activities such as games, music and tasks that employ logic and higher order thinking to appeal to children of all learning inclinations and preferences.

Classes support children in their personal, social and emotional development as well as in developing important Core Skills.

Our aim is to provide a positive and inclusive environment where children are free to express themselves and ask questions.

Lessons relate to children's personal experience, with each child being treated as an individual so that language can arise naturally.

There are six Primary Plus levels aimed at different age groups.

Each level is split into ten separate modules and includes the following core content: • 10x 12-page student magazines; • 10x teacher resource packs; • 10x Shaun the Sheep videos; • Flashcards; • Story card sets; • Classroom audio; • MyPractice online practice activities and web links to LearnEnglish Kids; • Presentation resources.
