The brief

Care at Night will support people with eligible needs to remain safe and well in their own home during the night-time hours.

The Service will be flexible and responsive, delivered by a Provider empowered to take proactive action to ensure eligible needs and desired outcomes are met.

The responsible Provider will deliver an efficient, flexible service which is responsive to changes in demand and ensures capacity is utilised effectively.

Objectives of Service People are supported to ensure the outcomes most important to them are achieved and as a result are highly satisfied with the Service.

Front-line workers feel well trained, supported, and confident in their ability to provide high quality provision.

For people who have chosen and arrangements have been made for them to die in their own home, they should be able to return home from hospital within 2 hours and no later than 24 hours of this decision.

The contract will be for a two year duration with an option to extend by one year.
