Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Transformer Replacement - Royal Preston Hospital
A review of existing transformers has been undertaken at RPH and it has been identified that our existing transformers would benefit from replacement.
The existing transformers are between 15 and 35 years old, approaching their life span and are inefficient when compared with modern 'Eco Low Loss' transformers.
Replacing the TXs would afford revenue savings and would give a greater reliability/resilience in the electrical infrastructure.
