Stockport Homes Group (SHG) are seeking tenders for the provision of Grounds Maintenance Services for a period of four years, plus an option for a further one year extension on agreement between parties commencing 29 January 2024.

Type of work required includes, but not limited to: • Maintenance of grassed areas (collection, drop, mulch • Maintenance of planted areas • Tree planting and minor maintenance • Hedges and bushes • Leaf clearance • Long grass and wildflower maintenance • Herbicide treatment This is a two stage process.

In this first stage, interested suppliers will be asked to fill out the attached Selection Questionnaire (SQ) for return by 17 July 2023 from which a short-list will be drawn up.

In the second stage, the shortlisted suppliers will be invited to respond to an invitation to tender (ITT) which will include full specifications.

The tenders are then evaluated, any clarification meetings held and the contract awarded to the successful tenderer.

The Invitation to Tender exercise is anticipated to commence 31 July 2023.

The expected timetable is as follows: Selection Questionnaire (SQ) available June 2023 Closing date to express interest and submit SQ: 17 July 2023 Short listed companies to be sent Invitation to Tender (ITT) 31 July 2023 Closing date to receive sealed bids: 8 Sep 2023 Clarification meetings: Sept 2023 Contract expected to be awarded during Oct 2023 Contract start date: 29 Jan 2024
