The brief

Defra procuring on behalf of Natural England (NE): This Project is part of the Hoveton Great Broad Restoration resulting in two clear water lakes.

Sediment removal is due to be undertaken from the Broad, and this requirement is to undertake four Bathymetric surveys before and after sediment removal.

Accurate depth readings are required to inform contractors where to removal sediment from in order to increase the average depth of the broads from 0.9m to 1.1m and as a way to calculate how much sediment has been removed.
