Provision of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) for the processing of Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR)

Provision of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) for the processing of approximately 20,000 tonnes per annum of Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR).

DMR is a fully comingled mix of household collected recyclable material, including glass.

The provision of MRF includes the collection of DMR from a single collection point.

The procurement process incorporates 2 x lots: Lot One - Incorporating a Basket of Goods payment mechanism.

This will be linked to the Letsrecycle.com material resale index and will mean that revenue and costs associated with the Basket of Goods will fluctuate each month.

Lot Two - Fixed Price Incorporating an inclusive Gate Fee.

The Contract will incorporate an inclusive Gate Fee which will account for Processing Costs, Haulage Costs and Material Resale Value.

Tenderers are invited to tender for both lots.

Tenderers can tender for a single lot.

A single contract will be awarded for either Lot 1 or Lot 2.

The decision whether to award a contract for Lot 1 or Lot 2 will be taken Ansa's sole discretion.
