The brief

This programme is designed to provide eligible participants with an opportunity to experience the rapidly developing digital industry.

The programme should be delivered over a period of 2 weeks Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm.

Participants should have the option to choose a discipline (Game, Design, Video Production or Web) and receive training so that they become familiar with the software.

They should also have an opportunity to put their new skills into practice, by working on a relevant project.

Service Providers must include in their Tenders a clear outline of how they will deliver elements such as but not exclusively: o Introduction to software o Interpreting a client's brief o Familiarisation with terminology (e.g. design eye) o Understanding projects, planning, delivery, reviewing and evaluating o Working as part of a team o Working on an identified project utilising the skills gained Participants should have an opportunity to undertake an ASDAN qualification which should reflect the work they have undertaken.

At the end of the programme participants should be guaranteed either a mock interview or an interview for an apprenticeship.

Service Provider must: o include the price of lunch and travel within the quote; o deliver from a location that is accessible by public transport, outlining the planned delivery location and venue to be used during the course; o adhere to health and safety rules and regulations being fully responsible for all risk assessments including external activities; provide PPE where necessary and report any accidents/incidents in a timely manner; o report on performance against agreed targets at a timeframe to be agreed and specified in the contract.
