The Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL) of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is inviting tenders for the supply of an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICPMS).
HSL undertakes routine low-level elemental analysis in biological fluids on behalf of HSE and also for a number of HSL's external customers.
This analysis takes the form of testing of human exposure to contamination within the metals industry (e.g. cadmium and lead) and many other industries with exposures to a wide range of elements (welding, recycling, surface engineering etc).
