This sits in the lower-middle of the Laboratory & Precision Equipment band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 9,869 valued Laboratory & Precision Equipment tenders in our corpus.
We are looking for an Aerosol Black Carbon Analyser to deploy at a remote atmospheric observatory.
To meet our needs, you must be able to demonstrate and consider the following; o The analyser can be operated in a remote location continuously (i.e., 24/7). o The analyser can make measurements of Black Carbon at a frequency of 1 minute (60 seconds). o That the analyser can accurately measure Black Carbon in remote locations with a sensitivity better than 0.1 ug/m3 for a 1-minute measurement. o That the analyser has an hourly limit of detection better than 0.02 ug/m3. o Can discriminate Black Carbon from fossil fuel versus biomass combustion. o Deliver a solution within our maximum allocated budget of ?43k including VAT (budget for proposed analyser only). o Data can be remotely accessed and transferred via local internet. o Can be calibrated in situ without the need to take the instrument out of service. o Mountable in a 19'' rack (6U) chassis.
