The renaissance of the East Anglia fishing industry
This Notice is to advertise that Waveney District Council will be running a Concept Viability day at Waveney Council Offices on the 15th June 10-3pm .
The objective is to explore how the economic and social benefits of the fishing industry can be captured and optimized locally and regionally.
There are three main elements to this project: a.Data and information gathering, and analysis of the current situation; b.A forward look at prospective changes and the development of possible options for bringing benefits to the regional fishing industry and coastal communities; and c.Preparation of a regional fisheries strategy.
