Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (NFRS) is seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake a full audit safe Working at Height with the service.
Fire Stations and the Service Development Centre are provided with drill and testing facilities, including those for safe working at height.
There are 3 levels of working at height training: o Level 1 - on-call Crews o Level 2 - Wholetime and day crewing o Level 3 for the Tech Rescue Crews.
Statutory requirements for testing of safe working at height equipment for the 'static' points such as eyelets at Premises are managed by NFRS Estates Section.
Statutory requirements for testing of safe working at height equipment for the 'mobile' equipment such as harnesses on appliances are managed by Engineering Section.
