Establishing the Housing Requirement for Lancaster District Tender Brief

As part of preparing the evidence base for the Local Plan Review, the Council seeks to commission consultants to undertake the preparation of various evidence-based studies which together will provide the Council with a robust understanding of housing and employment requirements for the district.

Exploring these matters will consist of 4 separate studies: A: Establishing the Housing Requirement for Lancaster District - which is the subject of this brief.

B: Lancaster District Employment Land Review.

C: Lancaster District Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA).

D: Lancaster District Gypsy & Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment (GTAA).

All four studies are currently out for tender.

Consultants are invited to tender for individual studies or a combination of studies where expertise and capacity allow.

Each study will however be procured separately and assessed on its own merit.
