The brief

Salisbury City Council, on behalf of the city's stakeholders are seeking to appoint a place brand company to implement and market the Salisbury Place Brand.

In 2019, through an extensive consultation a new competitive brand positioning for the city, 'Traditional Original' was developed and launched with the aim of creating a clear, concise brand & narrative to use to support economic growth and investment, and to build Salisbury's reputation as a great place to live, work, study, and visit.

The 'Traditional Original' positioning was well received by stakeholders from all sectors in Salisbury.

Brand guidelines have been developed and some provisional implementation work has already commenced, including a new partnership Salisbury website, city signage used across projects including Salisbury Street Sellers and empty shop front vinyls.

There is now a clear need to amplify the implementation of the Salisbury Place Brand and inspire action - communicating and working with local residents, business, and stakeholders through a cohesive, long-term framework to support Salisbury's economic recovery post COVID-19, ensuring the city's future success.

We are looking for creative and innovative solutions to implement and market the Salisbury Place Brand.

The company selected will deliver the project requirements and will support, inspire and lead the Salisbury partners and wider businesses to consistently deliver the brand experience.
