The brief

The DoLS team require a pool of Mental Health Assessors across the country.

The S12 doctor's role is critical in safeguarding the rights and well-being of individuals subject to DoLS assessments.

They play a vital part in determining whether deprivation of liberty is necessary and proportionate for each person's unique circumstances.

To keep a list of and provide qualified S12 Doctors to undertake mental Health assessment within a week of allocation and return the completed form 4 to the DoLS team within 10 days of allocation.

These Doctors will be quality checked and all relevant credentials checked, and evidence collected.

A Contract for 1 year with a possibility of extension of another year if assessments are completed successfully within budget and are of high quality.

We will be expecting a return of 500 assessments with in the first year and a total of 1000 assessments by the end of the 2 years.
