The brief

Shore-to-Ship Power (SSP)-also known as Cold Ironing or Alternative Maritime Power (AMP)-is a system that allows ships docked at port to plug into the local electrical grid and turn off their diesel engines.

This helps reduce air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and noise in port areas.
