The brief

Bolton Council will be commissioning an Integrated 0-19 Health and Wellbeing Service.

Our vision is for the service to give every child in Bolton the best start in life and to help and support our young people to make healthier life choices.

A more effective delivery of the new universal service will also identify families in need of additional support and those children and young people who are at risk of poor health and wellbeing, and provide support that leads to improved outcomes so that they have every chance to succeed and be happy.

With the forthcoming tender we intend to have a strong community and voluntary element and are keen to understand what community and voluntary organisations could offer.

We are therefore seeking to scope out what is currently being delivered and what the potential is to expand this offer.

It is our intention to summarise and share the information collected via this market testing exercise with potential providers.

We hope that this approach will support organisations to develop strong and sustainable partnerships and ensure that the third sector is core to service delivery.

Please complete and return by 31st August 2018.
