Foreign & Commonwealth Office
Diplomatic Academy Trade Faculty Expert Level Curriculum - Supplier Event
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Trade Policy and Negotiations Faculty wishes to develop its trade capacity-building programmes for civil servants in the UK and overseas in order to develop its current offer and to meet the needs of future trade negotiators.
For expert level programmes, the Faculty plans to support the UK's capacity to negotiate on a range of specific trade-related subjects and to create advanced training for those at the frontline of trade negotiations.
In addition, we are looking to develop the existing digital learning programme at Practitioner-level and to embed that learning through face to face workshops.
We would like to invite suppliers to meet with us at the FCO on Friday 15 December to better understand our requirements and offer suggestions on how we might fulfil our training objectives.
The event will be an opportunity for suppliers to familiarise themselves with the current trade curriculum offered across UK departments and overseas and to ask any questions ahead of the tender process.
Timings: 10.00am - Arrival drinks / registration for one to one meetings 10.30am - Presentation on the Trade Faculty's future work programme: lessons learnt and requirements for future capacity-building programmes Following the presentation there will be a series of one to one meetings with potential suppliers to discuss the learning requirements in more detail.
If you wish to attend the event, please request an invitation via email to jonathan.burgoyne@fco.gov.uk including the full names, dates of birth and contact information of the attendees.
We would appreciate if each organisation could send no more than two attendees.
The deadline for messages will be midday Tuesday 12th December.
