AMAP (Automotive and manufacturing advanced practice) form a key part of the Faculty of Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Sunderland.

This will be based upon the application of research and knowledge of Advanced Manufacturing regionally, nationally and internationally - adding unique value and excellence to differentiate and enhance the student experience, the Faculty of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing and the University.
The University of Sunderland has the research capability supported by AMAP, and AMAP also have their network of industrial contacts.

Summer 2017 will see a significant investment from University of Sunderland into Advanced Manufacturing.
Work will be conducted at two key sites (St Peters Campus - David Goldman Building and The Industry Centre) and your attention is drawn to Appendix D - Floor Plans - which confirms the current floor layouts of these areas and associated equipment requirements.
As such, the University of Sunderland seeks to appoint an innovative supplier/service provider who can provide a comprehensive and compliant response to the requirements outlined within this ITT for Advanced Manufacturing Equipment defined as Electrical Components and Various Accessories.
