3407/AMRC/JS/IMG/22 - 2 x Industrial Robots (1x Large, 1x Small) and controllers (2 Lots) The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of 2 x robots and controllers and training on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.
Scope of Requirement The AMRC IMG Group has a requirement for two robots for use in creating various research cells to be eventually installed at the AMRC Factory 2050 facility in Sheffield as follows:- 1) A high payload, six-axis robotic serial arm with a 250 ± 10 kg payload, latest version controller and software for offline programming.
2) A small payload, six-axis robotic serial arm with a 20 ± 2 kg payload, latest version controller and software for offline programming.
To ensure best value for money and prompt delivery, the AMRC is willing to consider and review a proposal for ex-demo robots, which meets all technical and warranty items specified.
