Purchase of Cryogenic Storge Unit Bulk LN2 Storage Tank
The MHRA has a requirement to replace its 9000L bulk liquid nitrogen storage vessel.
The old tank has been disposed of as it was beyond economic repair.
This vessel supplies the Cryogenic Storage Unit with ~12 liquid nitrogen freezers.
The previous 9000L vessel, was a Ferox VT Series VT9/19, Diameter 1800mm, Width 2050mm, Depth 2100mm, Height 7600mm.
The appointed contractor will be required to supply, deliver, install and commission the new vessel.
In addition, they will provide detailed design documents and all relevant safety certification.
