VisitBritain/VisitEngland seeks a Tenderers from suitably qualified and experienced bidders to undertake a quality assurance assessments of tourism businesses that deliver frontline business support on a one-to-one basis in England for and on behalf of the national tourist board.
In addition to the assessment of establishments within the star-rated and accredited tourist accommodation schemes, this licenced contract opportunity also includes responsibility for the management of the non-accommodation schemes, including visitor attractions.
The incumbent supplier has indicated that it considers that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 will apply should the contract be awarded to a different supplier.
This means that there will be a transfer of staff - believed to be no more than 2 - 4 unless agreed otherwise.

Tenderers must complete the SSQ and return their completed Tender response documentation no later than 12:00pm on 8 September 2022.
The successful Tenderer will be awarded a contract for 3 years, with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months each.
The estimated value of this concession contract is based on the estimated total turnover of the 'concessionaire' generated over the duration of the contract (including option years), net of VAT.
