The brief

Highways England is seeking the provision of services to undertake research into further improving the consideration of walking, cycling and horse-riding (WCH) users.

This task will build up upon previous work to update the design manual for roads and bridges (DMRB) document GG 142 'Walking Cycling and Horse-riding Assessment and Review' (hereby referred to as the 'WCHAR process') and further establish the standard within Highways England.
