Market Engagement Event for London and Central Midlands Child Health Information Service (CHIService)

NHS England (London and Central Midlands Region) would like to invite Bidders to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the intentions to procure Child Health Information Services (CHIService) for London and Central Midlands .

Every child deserves to have a complete screening by their 1st birthday and a complete immunisations record before they go to school.

The NHS and Local Authorities need to understand where every child is living.

London currently has 21 small and isolated teams who are struggling to keep track of all of big-data.

We have landed men on the moon and brought them back again.

We have landed rovers on Mars to take #MarsSelfies.

We now want to engage with Bidders who are interested in helping NHS England, London and Central Midlands Region~ • Develop a service which will take account of and be able to analyse ~ 140,000 pregnant women, each with some screening results 135,000 live-births each with ~ New Born Hearing Screening results New Born Blood Spot Screening results New infant Physical Examination results at 72 hours and again at 6-8 weeks Neonatal BCG (universal) and HepB (as relevant) All immunisations activity under 5 years old, as per DH Green Book, JCVI and COVER Reporting.

It is intended that a procurement process will commence at the end of April 2016 with a view for the services to commence on the 1st April 2017.

The Event will take place between 14:00 – 16:30 on Friday 18th March 2016, at: Holiday Inn London Turner Suite Bloomsbury Coram Street, London, WC1N 1HT Market Engagement Event will provide: • an overview of the vision and future landscape of the CHIService • details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions • an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timeline Places are limited therefore reservations are limited to no more than 3 persons per organisation.
