BEIS have provided funding to TVCA to commission a report that reviews the barriers and routes to developing decentralised energy schemes in rural and urban fringe areas.

This work will review current regulatory and financial environment in UK, consider the impact of Brexit on rural/urban fringe energy schemes, and demonstrate economic, supply chain and wider societal benefits of a range of rural/urban fringe energy ownership models.
