The brief

The Contracting Authority is seeking the provision of a Multi-Disciplinary Transport and Civil Engineering Service for a period of up to 9 months from 7th June 2021 to the end of March 2022 with an option to extend for a further 6 months should this be deemed necessary to provide support during early stage delivery.

Specifically, TVCA is seeking a potential contractor to: • Develop a hierarchy of bus shelter provision and in agreement with TVCA specify the expected level of provision/facilities for each category.

It is envisaged that the level of provision / facilities will be of a higher specification on the key bus corridors and that there will be a sliding scale of provision with a more basic specification on quieter/more rural routes. • Develop a high-level cost plan for each category of provision and undertake an assessment of the number of shelters to be upgraded with a total cost estimate for all works. • Advise on the different delivery models in terms of ownership and advertising contracts, including best practice from elsewhere.
