The extension of service period is to allow the Commissioners' to develop and articulate a comprehensive model for the provision of a high-quality 24/7 Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service, delivering effective and efficient care for their populations.
The development and procurement of this model will be aligned to allow the new arrangements to be in place for 1st April 2019.
