Invitation to tender for the provision of Adult Weight Management TIER 2 Services The London Borough of Lambeth (LLB) is seeking to procure a Tier 2, evidence based and outcome focused weight management service for adult residents in Lambeth.
LLB is seeking providers able to deliver high quality, safe, innovative, cost effective services that adhere to NICE guidelines.
The service provider is required to achieve the following: • Safe and sustained weight loss for participants with a focus on long term diet and exercise behavioural changes. • Improvements in participants physical activity levels, dietary behaviours, quality of life/emotional wellbeing and relevant physiological measures. • Continued engagement of the majority of participants across the duration of the programme. • All interventions including activities and promotional material is reflective of the needs of the target demographic.
Organisations wishing to Tender need to demonstrate that they have experience in delivering a Tier 2 Adult Weight Management service or similar and have achieved high level outcomes and service user satisfaction.
Organisations must have the capacity, resource and expertise to deliver this service at any locality within Lambeth, reflecting the demographics and the health inequalities within the borough.
The service will be delivered by well trained, professional staff.
The contract term is two years with the option for two, one year extensions at the Council's discretion.
The maximum annual contract value is £360,000 and the two year maximum contract value is £720, 000.
The maximum total contract value including the option for two one year extensions (subject to the Council's discretion ) is £1,440, 000.
The anticipated contract start date is the 1st of April 2019.
The deadline for tender submissions is 12:00 on Monday 22nd October 2018 The London borough of Lambeth reserves the right not to consider any tender submissions after the deadline or make an award.
Bidders should assume that any later tender submissions will be rejected.
