The brief

East Ward Community Primary School and Higher Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced company to undertake their school meals catering provision.

The successful company will be required to provide healthy balanced meals in line with recognised guidelines ensuring choice, dietary needs and tastes are met.

Menus will need to be varied and rotated on a regular basis.

Bidders will need to be able to demonstrate that their solution provides the facility for an end to end electronic ordering process incorporating the ability to order from multiple settings e.g. in school or at home.

Provide an online payment system for the collection of payments from parents.

Pricing will be per meal.

It is anticipated that the new arrangement will commence from Monday 16th April 2018.

School closes for Easter on Thursday 29th March 2018 and will reopen on Monday 16th April 2018.

The successful bidder will be given access to school, during the Easter holiday period, in order for school meals to be offered from Monday 16th April 2018.

The expiry date of the contract will be 31st July 2019 with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods.
