The brief

The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply, installation and commissioning of the Electrical Services associated with the proposed new fire alarm at Newark Palace Theatre.

The full system is to include all equipment as per the layout drawings included with this tender pack with an integrated cloud-based monitoring system.

The contractor shall ensure the Electrical works are fully compliant with the EFSA Facilities output specification 2020. • Generic Design Brief • Annex 2G: Electrical Services • Annex 2E: Daylighting and Electric Lighting Services included (but not limited to) • Fire Alarm • Small Power Supplies • Emergency Lighting • Paging system • Door hold open devices • Cloud based monitoring Further information on the requirement and relevant performance standards are available within the Specification.

The anticipated contract commencement date is 28 May 2024.

The Council proposes to enter a contract for a duration of no more than 14 weeks.

The Council anticipates the works will take no longer than 5 weeks and must be undertaken between the 22nd July and the 30th August.

The works must be completed by 30th August.
