GB-London: Cyber Security Guides for Officers and Councillors in Local Government
This is a large award for Education & Training — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 23,516 valued Education & Training tenders in our corpus.
NOTE: This notice was updated on 27 January 2022 for the following reason: Unfortunately, we are withdrawing this tender.
While we reserve the right to do so within the tender documents we appreciate this will be disappointing for suppliers who have submitted bids.
The situation for the LGA cyber security programme has changed substantially from when we first decided to put out a tender for this contract not least in relation to our funding streams.
As a result of this we will be changing our delivery model for this project to deliver a pilot that will involve the delivery of a smaller number of guides with the potential to increase the number of guides.
We therefore intend to issue a new Invitation to Tender (ITT) as open tenders on contracts finder in the near future.
We would encourage all suppliers to bid for this work.
We understand that this will be of disappointment to suppliers but we believe it is the best way to ensure value for money and high quality outputs that will be of most benefit to the sector.
We would like to thank you for your tenders and apologise for any inconvenience caused.(The LGA wishes to commission a supplier to develop a minimum of 30 guides to help key personnel within local government to build capabilities within cyber security.
This must include an overview of cyber risks pertinent to key roles and officers' and members' responsibilities in understanding a) good cyber principles; b) how to manage cyber security risks; c) how they can help to reduce the impact of a cyber incident on business operations.)
