They are looking for an expert in product and services Life Cycle Assessment and carbon footprint calculations to help them to validate the methodology of their carbon footprint calculator, given that the credibility of the calculator is integral to their product.
The calculator is built using the University of Berkeley's Cool Climate model and adjusted to the UK market using information from the National Office For Statistics.
It is expected that the work will be up to 5 days (35 hours) on a flexible working and drawdown basis.
Responses are sought from individuals from Knowledge Bases, defined under the ERDF Definition of a Research Entity: Higher Education, Further Education and Research Entities which are: UK Public Sector Research Establishments, Research and Development Organisations, Research and Technology Organisations.
Assessment criteria are as follows: • Applicant from a research entity (pass/fail) • The fit of the expertise to solve the company's need, as assessed by Imperial Consultants and the SME. • The proposed solution and the outputs to be provided. • Availability. • Value for money.
