Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) is a large Mental Health Trust operating within the West Midlands offering both in-patient and out-patient care.
The objective of this specification is to commission a Clinical Coding service which provides the Trust with accurate and complete inpatient Clinical Coding which will enable BSMHFT to submit a minimum level 2 for Information Governance Toolkit standard 514 in March 2017 and a level 3 on the Toolkit in subsequent years, based on the minimum accuracy levels as stipulated by Connecting for Health for each separate year.
