The brief

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SOFT MARKET TEST ONLY TO ASSIST THE COUNCIL WITH RESEARCH AND PREPARATION AND IS NOT A FORMAL TENDER.

THIS MAY LEAD TO A PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITY IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Cheshire West and Chester Council (the "Council") is currently considering options in respect of its Bus Timetabling and Publicity ICT Solution.

To that end it is testing the market to establish if there are suitable organisations that can provide a system which meets its requirements. Please note, the Council are keen to hold soft market testing demonstrations on Friday 12 July.

The closing date for responses is 4 July by Midnight.

We would be grateful if you would reply to lynne.mckie@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk to confirm your agreement to demonstrate.

We shall then agree a demonstration appointment time on 12 July with suitable suppliers.

This process is intended to inform the Council's understanding of the market and is not part of a formal procurement process.

Should the Council decide to proceed, a formal procurement process may follow at a later date.

For the avoidance of any doubt, the requirements detailed above are high level requirements, and do not represent the Council's full set of technical and security requirements for any future procurement exercise.
