The brief

1The British Red Cross "Red Cross" is a humanitarian organisation that refuses to ignore people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities and when the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.

Red Cross wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Power Generation for Emergency Response Units (ERUs) with a number of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers who shall support various requirements.

The Services required under this Framework Agreement shall include, but will not be limited to: - Power generation for a small office (which covers 5-10 laptops, printers, phone chargers and communications equipment chargers, e.g. radios, BGAN, satphone); and - Power generation for a warehouse tent - potential usage for lighting, charging batteries and power tools as well as cooling / heating items depending on the content.

It is also possible that a few people will work out of this setup as well so a small office setup needs to be an option.

Please refer to our Statement of Requirements, as detailed within the Invitation to Tender, for the full scope of Products.

These Products must conform to the outputs detailed within the Statement of Requirements.
