The brief

The National Archives has a requirement for the supply and delivery of the hardware, software and services for two FAS8200A storage systems, identically configured, and both supported by 'SupportEdge Standard Part Replace NBD, Install'.

The hardware must be securely delivered between the hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, into a server room on the ground-floor of The National Archives, Kew Richmond, Surrey TW9 4DU.

Basic installation (CS-INSTALL) of this hardware into existing rack units must be undertaken by NetApp engineers, between the hours of 10am to 5pm.

In addition, two older-generation NetApp FAS6210 filer storage systems must be de-racked, re-racked and re-cabled into existing standard rack units (in the same server room as the installation above, in the same working hours 10am to 5pm), again by NetApp engineers.

No software configuration of either the existing or the new NetApp FAS8200A systems will be required.

All installation and de-installation as outlined above must be complete by 23 November 2018.
