Evaluation of the Inspiring Active Communities Programme
Volunteers have been the backbone of the International Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement since its birth in 1863.
The objectives of the Inspiring Active Communities programme reflect the importance of volunteering to the Red Cross Movement. The Inspiring Active Communities Programme aims to enable participating organisations to develop and improve their volunteering offer from role design, recruitment and induction through to the experience of support of volunteering on to exit and legacy.
Across the two cohorts of volunteers, the evaluation will allow us to examine the different elements of the volunteer cycle, enabling us and our partners to offer more engaging volunteer experiences that encourage and support more people to become active citizens.
BRC wish to commission mid-term and final evaluations of the programme to independently assess its value against its objectives.
