Independent Evaluation of AVAIL Project
AVAIL (Amplifying the Voices of Asylum Seekers and Refugees for Integration and Life Skills) aims to create routes in which people with lived experience as refugees and asylum seekers (RAS) can have an impact at different levels - services, strategy and policy, and broader society.
It is built on the principles of coproduction and participation and brings together four diverse states along the European migration route - Latvia and Italy (transit countries), and the UK and Ireland (destination countries) over a two-year period in each country we will explore and learn from different ways of involving people with lived experience.
AVAIL is a partnership between the British Red Cross partner Red Cross Societies in Italy, Ireland, and Latvia and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (ICRC) it is funded by the European commission.
The British Red Cross (BRC) is recruiting for an independent evaluator to assess the overall impact of the AVAIL programme.
This role will coordinate closely with the AVAIL Research Officer, who manages the overall day-to-day monitoring and evaluation of the project.
