A mobile Cardiac MRI unit is proposed for relocation from the Royal Brompton Hospital in London to Kettering General Hospital to supplement its cardiac facilities.
The unit comes as a complete, self-contained unit or pod, consisting of an MRI unit, including MRI examination, tech and control rooms, as well as a reception space, waiting area, changing room and WC facilities.
Additionally, the unit comes with dedicated plantrooms and service cupboards which contain various items of MEP plant and equipment.
A new, covered linking corridor is to be constructed as part of the project to provide access for patient's and staff.
