The brief

Following recent staff reviews and a decision to move to MS Office 2016 it has been identified that there is a particular need to provide training to improve IT skills and Health and Safety awareness.

To this end this tender has been produced, and consists of two lots: 1.

Microsoft Office Training 2.

Health & Safety Training The Requirement LOT 1 - MS Office Training Over the coming months the Royal Berkshire Fire Authority is upgrading the version of Microsoft Office it uses from 2007 to 2016.

To ensure that staff are able to use the latest version effectively and efficiently the Authority will offer a 1 day transition course.

In addition a number of staff have identified, as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), the requirement to undertake further training in specific aspects of MS Office.

As a result of these requirements the Authority is seeking to acquire a training provider to deliver a range of MS Office 2016 training courses.

LOT 2 - Health & Safety Training The Authority takes seriously its commitment to health and safety.
