The University of East Anglia and the QI Partners (the authority) are proposing to introduce a contract for a Total Facilities Management service, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building fabric, cleaning and associated services, helpdesk and associated compliance services for its buildings across the Main Campus, the Edith Cavell and Bob Champion research buildings located at West Campus, and the Quadram Institute located at Norwich Research Park.
UEA expects to retain elements of maintenance provision which will be delivered by their internal team and the incoming contractor shall be expected to interface effectively with UEA internal teams.
The authority expects to award the FM contract to commence on 15th February 2022 for a period of five years, with an option to extend the contract by 1 + 1 year(s).
The authority is seeking reputable companies with a proven track record in directly delivering and managing technically demanding Facilities Management services to similar organisations.
It is anticipated that all services will be underpinned by technology and robust policies and procedures, which will at all times reflect good industry practice within an environment of continuous improvement.
