The brief

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge ("the Authority") are seeking Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the contract for the provision of accommodation based support service for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

The contract shall commence on the 1st April 2023 and shall continue up to and including the 31st March 2026 with an option to extend up to a further 24 months until 31st March 2028 ("the Contract Period").

Violence and abuse of women and girls blights the lives of a significant proportion of our communities locally, nationally and internationally, as does violence and abuse against men.

Not only are the survivor themselves seriously adversely affected but this can their children, extended family and friends and permeate our society.

The primary aim of the Service is to • Provide emergency accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence. • Provide women a place of safety, security and stability and the time to make informed decisions about their future. • Provide emotional and practical support. • Enable women and children affected by domestic violence to rebuild their lives and make the transition to a settled home and to training or employment.

The total contract value, over the potential five-year contractual period, including extension options is £421,490.00.

The maximum contract value per annum is therefore, £84,298.00.
