The brief

The service will: ?

Assess and enrol hostel residents into the service, and provide them with pre-tenancy preparation; ?

Broker service users into lasting sustainable homes in the PRS, at least 60 per year; ?

Provide tenancy sustainment to limit repeat homelessness.

The Council seeks a supplier with a proven track record of procuring high volumes of affordable and good quality tenancies in the PRS.

They will have demonstrable success in accessing the sector for single homeless people and have an effective service model based on knowledge and experience of what works to achieve results in an increasingly challenging market place.

Ideally they will have experience of working with former homeless people living in hostels and will be aware of the move-on barriers this client group face.

Their service model will be geared to ensuring effective move-on from the hostel system into the PRS and ensuring former homeless people are effectively resettled in the PRS and do not experience homelessness again.
