The brief

The City of Wolverhampton Council is in the process of procuring a support service for the Council's inhouse foster parents.

The Council has a statutory duty to provide independent support to inhouse foster carer households.

The council currently has approximately 209 internal foster parent households with an annual target to increase these by at least 5 each year.

The support service will provide the following to all inhouse foster parents: - • Legal advice and Legal expenses • Arrest and interview expenses • Accountancy and Tax advice • Advice on insurance • Counselling helpline • Professional development - education advice and support • Medical and first aid helpline • Additional benefits for foster carers Contract start date: 1 January 2025 Contract end date: 31 December 2027 Contract value: Up to £33,000 in total from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027 Interested bidders can access the request for quote at www.wolverhamptontenders.com or contact Veronica Grantham Veronica.Grantham@wolverhampton.gov.uk. or adebimpe.winjobi@wolverhampton.gov.uk to discuss further.
