IAPT and Community Well-being Services Ref. 15.234. On behalf of NHS Brighton and Hove Clincal Commissioning Group
This is a large award for Health & Social Care — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Lot 1 - IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Service and Lot 2 - All-age Community Wellbeing Service supports people with mental health problems in primary care settings.
Brighton and Hove CCG has concluded it's re-commissioning of these services to put in place new contracts and services that will be operational from 1st June 2017.
In addition to the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service which we expect to be aligned with the nationally mandated model, the broader Community Wellbeing Service will retain the strengths of the 'practitioner' model, but will be all ages and include additional features such as work and learning support and an advice service.
It will support people who neither meet the criteria for Adult IAPT services or local secondary mental health services.
The procurement was in 2 Lots • Lot 1 Adult IAPT • Lot 2 All-age Community Wellbeing Service.
Both Lots were awarded to Care Unbound Ltd (trading as HERE).
The 3 year primary period values for the Lots are Lot 1 - £8.1m and Lot 2 - £5.4m.
The contracts term is 3 Years plus option to extend by up to a further 24 months.
