NHS SOUTH WEST COMMISSIONING SUPPORT
Bristol, South Gloucestershire & North Somerset - Children's Community Health Services Market Engagement Event
This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice, and relates only to a pre-procurement engagement event.
NHS Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS South Gloucestershire CCG, NHS North Somerset CCG, Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and NHS England are commissioners of health and social care services, jointly responsible for commissioning the majority of health and social care services in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Services are purchased from a range of sources including primary care, acute trusts, charities, social enterprises and private providers.
The Commissioners are considering going out to formal procurement for Children’s Community Health Services, and are now holding a pre-procurement market engagement and information event.
The purpose of the event will be to: • Raise awareness amongst the provider market of the Commissioners’ re-commissioning intentions • Give organisations the opportunity to start building the resources and relationships required to bid successfully for the services • Engage with the provider market at the specification-writing stage.
The event is being held at a formative stage of the re-commissioning programme, so providers are encouraged to bring a wide range of attendees, including both corporate and clinical skill-sets.
The project team will provide information on the commissioners’ general proposed approach, inviting attendees to participate in some focused work on several key topics.
The event will be held in central Bristol (venue and further details provided on RSVP) from 9am – 1pm on Thursday, 14th May.
To receive full details, please respond by e-mail to Phil Fear stating your organisation, along with names and contact details of those attending.
