The brief

LOT 1: COMMUNAL SUPPORT Housing related support provided within 30 units of communal accommodation facilities, available to those with higher levels of mental health needs and exhibiting chaotic / complex behaviours.

The maximum duration of stay is planned to be nine months.

LOT 2: NEIGHBOURHOOD BASED SUPPORT Floating support with assistance to access accommodation During a year, 115 people requiring accommodation to be supported in a house / flat in the community (for a maximum of six months).

It is envisaged the provider will source properties on a need basis from various housing providers (i.e. developing a dispersed model of provision) Floating support Floating support services comprises the standard offer and will be the preferred option for support for an estimated 300 individuals.

The support will be provided to people in their own tenancy (all tenure types are eligible) as a preventative measure to reduce risk of homelessness and more costly interventions.

It is planned that the average total support hours for each person over a six month period, determined by need will be: High need, 157.5 hours, Medium need 105 hours, Low need: 52.5 hours CONTRACT DURATION Lot 1 - Communal Support From 1st October 2019 to 30th September 2022 with the option to extend for a further 2 years on an annual basis.

The bid price should comprise of the cost of weekly support for 30 people.

Lot 2 - Neighbourhood based Support 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2022 with the option to extend for a further 2 years on an annual basis.

The bid price should comprise of the cost of 875 hours of weekly support.
