The brief

Market Warming Advertisement for Community Dermatology Service - 31st January 2017 PLEASE NOTE THE VALUE RANGE OF THE CONTRACT IS: £2,800,000.00 - £3,500,00.00 The Community Dermatology Service will provide high quality appropriate and prompt clinical care for a wide range of dermatology conditions in a community based setting.

The service will be expected to offer initial assessment, diagnosis relevant treatment together with appropriate follow up care regime for dermatology patients.

Service provision will generally be for patients aged 18 years and over who are registered with a Southampton City CCG GP, or where NICE guidelines apply, for example the treatment of low-risk BCCs.

The service provider will be responsible for ensuring there are appropriately qualified staff necessary to deliver a fully accredited service, compliant with all appropriate national standards and regulations.

The provider is responsible for provision of the team(s) and administration support required to manage the service.

The contract is for a period of 5 years with an option to extend by 2 years based on performance at the sole discretion of the contracting authority.

A Market Warming Event (MWE) is scheduled for procurement of the Community Dermatology Service for Southampton City CCG on Tuesday 31st January 2017 at Oakley Road, Southampton.

The contracting authority wish to engage with the market to form the final Community Dermatology Service specification.

Further information regarding the Market Engagement Event will be communicated w/c 16th January 2017.
