Portsmouth City Council (PCC) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors wishing to tender for the works as detailed in the Specification and Pricing Document.
Brief Scope of Works The works consist of Inspection surveys to a number of high rise residential properties within Portsmouth City.
In addition to the above wire and rail fall arrest systems at five high rise properties are to be tested and certified for 12 months to BS 7883 and EN795 or other standard where relevant.
Access to each work site will be by the use of industrial rope access techniques in accordance with BS 7985:2009.
All operatives undertaking roped access work, with the exception of any Sentries, will be trained to CITB or irata standards and must hold a current, valid certificate.
The estimated value of the work is £25,000.
Evaluation criteria will be 100% price.
