The brief

The agency is looking to lease for 6 month a light transmission aggregometer or equivalent to be able to do the following: - It needs to be able to run at least 8 samples simultaneously using an LED light source and be able to generate data outputs including area under the curve, primary slope, rate, and percent aggregation. - Data must be exportable as comma separated value (csv) format, excel, and/or PDF files. - The system(s) should be fully CE marked. - Due to space limitations, the system(s) footprint should be less than 0.4m wide and 0.4m deep.

If you can provide rental of a system(s) that meets these requirements, please email to (nawaz.habib@nibsc.org) to register an interest.

Please also indicate how much a lease (i.e. rental fee) would cost to include any maintenance required during this period and/or any bespoke consumables.

We are initially looking at a 6 month rental agreement but if the system(s) proves to be successful for our needs we may seek approval for funds to purchase a system(s) in the near future.

This is providing it is of financial benefit to the Agency, e.g. the rental fee to be deducted from the overall purchase.

If no submissions (by close of play 03 June 2019) of potential interest are received, it is then intended to perform a direct award without competition to the sole supplier we believe can supply this system(s).
