DEPARTMENT FOR LEVELLING UP, HOUSING AND COMMUNITIES
Neighbourhood Planning Grant Administration 2024-25
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Financial & Insurance Services band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 8,013 valued Financial & Insurance Services tenders in our corpus.
Neighbourhood planning gives communities in England direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.
They are able to choose where they want new homes, shops and offices to be built, have their say on what those new buildings should look like and what infrastructure should be provided, and grant planning permission for the new buildings they want to see go ahead.
The Buyer recognises that neighbourhood planning is primarily undertaken by volunteers and depending on local ambitions, neighbourhood planning can be complex.
In this context, the Buyer has made funding and support available to community Groups and their local planning authorities since 2011.
Few plans progress to referendum without some financial support from the Buyer.
Under this Contract the Supplier is required to deliver administration and monitoring services for Grants awarded to community Groups under the Programme in Financial Year 2024-2025, through a secure online grant administration system that provides secure information transfer, grant payment administration, and recording and reporting functions.
